Holly Pedersen, PhD, MFT
Holly Pedersen is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 18 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents, adults, families and couples. She has a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and Sociology from the University of Southern California. Her professional experience includes serving as the Director of the Community Education Center and Bullying Prevention Program at Parents Place on the Peninsula, providing school-based assessments and counseling to special-needs students for Santa Clara County Department of Mental Health, teaching at the University of Southern California, and working as the director of a non-profit agency that provides mental health services to at-risk youth in the foster care system. Her areas of expertise include bullying and cyber-bullying prevention, relational aggression and social challenges among children and adolescents, girls' social and emotional development, adolescent self-injury and high-risk behaviors, adolescent sexuality and coming out, and the treatment of depression and anxiety.
